FRIENDSHIP SURPRISE - SPOON DOLLS

I've made spoon dolls before, but these ones are quite special, because they were requested by a very talented little girl. She was just finished publishing her very own book. Yes! She is a writer!

She wanted to do a story telling for her book and need something to represent all the characters featured in it. So, spoon dolls it is!

The challenge was to make the spoon dolls look as close as possible to the illustrations. Hmm.. Very interesting :)

So, here they are. All the characters in "Friendship Surprise" written by Nihlah Assegaf (when she was six!), represented in spoon dolls made by me. What do you think? Close enough?

Please get yourself a copy, because this book is awesome!!!

ps. Thank you, Nihlah, for giving me this task. It surely make me shout, "Gee, I loooovveee my job!!"
